Brief on Dr. Desai:

• Completed M.Tech and Ph.D. from IIT Mumbai with Chemical process engineering in late 90’s,
• Worked as hard core process engineer initially, modified more than 90 processes (out of around
  100 no.) at various companies.
• Getting involved in expansion of production, further enter in projects. Completed total project in
  tune above 950 crores in last 28 years.
• In last 28 years, Worked with capacity of GM. VP, SR. VP, President, COO, SBU, with companies
  like United Phosphorous, Aarti group, Bayer group(German), Sajjan India, Unimark remedies,
  Punjab Chemicals, Chemithon INC ( American), Sterling group(lndia/US), Gujarat Flouro chem etc.
• Handling entire operation in tune of 500 Cr to 2800 Cr.
• Played key role in business development/ tie up with 5-9 years of contracting manufacturing
  with global companies during various assignment, covering total export worth of 50 to 360 crores.
• Play key role in expansion / grown of company from 30-90 % in 2-5 years of span.
• Done due diligence of more than 28 global technologies, and brought / retrofit in present set of
  above respective companies.
• Carry out huge saving at GFL/Aarti/ Punjab/Bayer/Sajjan/ Sterling/UPL/ Unimark by modifying
  global technology supplied to above companies in area of Sulphonation (Chemithon Inc),
  Ethoxylation, alkylation, Strauss technology(Fluorination), Pennwalt / Shell technology (
  Hydrogenation), Pioneer in hydrogenation technology implementation on large scale. ( Aarti with
  full fledge Hydrogenation plant.
• Played major role in carry out due diligence of project/ site and enter in to JV and Take over
  operation. Bilag to Baker (US) to Sterling -Baker.
• Since last 5 years started own venture under name of Kappa Chemicals and manufacturing
  additive for Lube and Oil well industries.
• Working on unique Global technology for sulphonate , we will be third company in world who
  got large capacity with hybrid technology. After LANXESS AND LUBRIZOL. (Upcoming}
• In area of Booster; we will be third company in world in after Shell and Lubrizol.
• In above technology we hv completed 95 % of technological aspect studies and now looking for
  suitable alliance/group to associate with.
• Working on PPD for Diesel fuel project have huge scope. Only one player in world.( Under
  development
